Great news!
My mortgage broker has been in touch and has told me that one of his favourite lenders, who incidentally also happens to be one of my favourite lenders and with whom I have multiple mortgages, has revamped their buy to let mortgage product range again.
And they’ve brought back an 80% LTV buy to let mortgage!
So here are the brief details.

5 year fixed
80% LTV
Product fee – NIL
£350 cashback
Free mortgage valuation
£299 application fee
APRC – 4.20%
Available on single self-contained properties (SSC)
EPC Rating A, B or C Only
You’ll see that the only drawback is that the product is only available for properties which have an EPC rating of C or above .
That means that for me, I wouldn’t buy properties using this product, as I like to buy properties that need a refurb, and invariably they have a much lower EPC rating.
But an 80% LTV product for a refinance after 6 months , once the refurb is finished is perfect.
